A new residential project has been proposed for development at 322 North Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story building offering 22 apartments. Plans call for the demolition of a small commercial building occupied by a lawnmower shop.
The Jager Company Ltd is the project applicant. BSB Design is responsible for the designs.
The scope of the project includes the redevelopment of a small commercial building with residential uses. Plans call for the construction of a four-story building featuring 22 apartments. The units will be designed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Parking for 22 vehicles will be provided on the site.
Requested approvals include density bonus incentives permitting a larger structure than allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, two of the apartments would be set aside for rent by very low-income households–up to $71,750 for a four-person household. Renderings reveal a contemporary design with an exterior of synthetic exterior board siding and stucco. Onsite amenities include a fitness room, a community room, and private decks.
A project application has been submitted and awaits review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
