2850 West 7th Street is in predevelopment in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project has undergone several reiterations over the last few years. A sign on the property currently states that it is in development by Brooks Street, according to their website, they are behind the entitlements, planning, design, product specifications, marketing, and eventual construction.
The building will have 253,366 square feet and be six floors tall. Plans call for a 166-unit, mid-rise, mixed-use apartment project on 1.4 acres of land. A mix of studios and one- and two-bedroom suites will be inside.
It will have retail on the ground floor and residential apartments above. Amenities include a yoga room, outdoor pool, and communal Korean barbecue kitchen, and a shared work loft. There will also be a rooftop party deck with views of the Hollywood sign and Downtown Los Angles.
Humphreys and Partners are listed as the architectural firm behind the project. Six parcels were brought together to create the space for the design, which is on a slightly slanted hill. The Project is entitled “KTown Gateway.”
