Construction has topped out at 3570 Motor Avenue, in Palms, Los Angeles. Residence Building Management Company, out of Japan, is the developer behind the project. The design aims to replace what was once single-level commercial space with denser housing and serene, open landscape architecture.

When completed, the building will be six stories high, 75 feet tall, 147 feet long, 92 feet wide. It will have 29,709 square feet of floor. Inside the upper levels, there will be 42 units, four of which will be low-income housing. Below the apartments, there will be retail space and one level of basement parking.

The site will include a pool area with cabanas, lounge chairs, and a BBQ grill. A rooftop patio will include a gas firepit. There will also be a fitness room. The garage will contain space for 2 compact, 2 disabled, and 48 standard parking stalls, as well as 44 long-term bicycle parking spaces.

DE Architects designed the podium-shaped building, which will feature green, frosted glass, private balconies to add interest. Other standout features include nine-foot ceilings and recess LED lighting. $9 million was the permit valuation for the project at the time of filing. The site is also listed as 10325 West Tabor Street.
