A new senior housing project proposed at 250-400 Sepulveda Boulevard in Manhattan Beach is all set to break ground this year. The proposed project will replace a series of on-site restaurants on Sepulveda Boulevard.
Virginia-based developer, Sunrise Development, Inc is invested in the project development. Newport Beach-based architect, HPI Architecture, is managing the design concepts and construction.
The property site spans across an area of 53,000 square feet. The project will feature 95 assisted living and memory care units with a total of 115 beds. In addition, kitchen space, common area, and other ancillary amenities will also be provided. Parking space for 61 vehicles is proposed at a single basement level.
Renderings reveal a contemporary-style building rising to a facade height between two three stories.
Other neighboring projects are under construction near the property site, including a hotel at 600 Sepulveda Boulevard.
The construction of the project is proposed to occur over 20 months, beginning in late 2021 and anticipated to finish in 2023.
