11155 West Huston Street is at full height in North Hollywood. It will bring denser housing to the area and a couple of low-income housing apartments, replacing a single-story residential home. IM Home Construction is behind the project.
When completed, the building will be 54 feet tall, 125 feet long, and 66 feet wide. It will be four stories tall, with 29,100 square feet of floor. Inside, there will be 24 units. Two of the units will fall under the extremely low-income tier, per TOC guidelines. The site received an eight-unit density bonus overall. Most of the units will have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A few will also include an additional den.
There will be one level of the basement. Inside, there will be 1 disabled and 23 standard parking spaces. 24 long-term and 3 short-term bicycle parking spaces will be on site. The Lankershim/Huston bus stop is the closest public transportation, a couple of blocks away. The Red Metro Line B also operates close to the area.
Bijan Axadi & Associates are behind the design. Overall, there will be 1,500 square feet of landscape. $1.8 million was the price for the Huston Street property, which sold in mid-2016. The permit valuation was $4.6 million, at the time of filing, in 2019.
