A modular supportive housing project is under construction at 12225 Avalon Boulevard, Willowbrook. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story apartment complex with residential units and onsite amenities.
Hope Street Development Group, the joint venture partnership between Aedis Real Estate Group and LSA Capital, is the project developer. KTGY Architecture + Planning is responsible for the design concepts.

Named Hope on Avalon, the project will bring 80 permanent supportive and traditional housing units. The units will range from 320 square feet to 480 square feet in size. Parking space with a capacity of 12 vehicles will be developed on the site.
The complex will consist of prefabricated modular units, offered as a mix of studios and one-bedroom apartments. Designs show two buildings woven together through the use of siding and cohesive materials. The two-story transitional building leverages screening along the façade for a heightened level of privacy.
The entrance is designed in stained wood cladding. The project will cost approximately $43.5 million to complete. The apartments will be reserved for households earning at or below 50 and 60 percent of the area’s median income level.
The project site is located toward the northwest corner of 124th Street and Avalon Boulevard, near Magic Johnson Park.
