5040 Telegraph Road has achieved all planning approvals, in Ventura. The project will bring multi-family housing, live/work space, and some low income housing to the empty lot, which is sometimes used as overflow parking for the church next door. Telegraph and Day Partners, LLC are listed as the developer for the project, which has been titled, “The Tides.”
The site is 1.3 acres. Surrounding uses include two commercial centers, a church and Ventura College. The proposed building will be three stories tall, reaching 38 feet in height. Inside there will be 36,000 square feet of residential space, 1,400 square feet of live/work space, and 2,300 square feet of other miscellaneous space. Lauterbach & Associates are behind the contemporary coastal architectural design.
A total of 42 residential units will be inside, four of which will be low income. One and two bedroom designs are included in the plans. The two live/work units will be on the ground floor, along with a mix of one and two bedroom, fully residential, units.
Amenities will include a courtyard, BBQ with outdoor kitchen and dining area, surfboard storage, and outdoor fireplace, a learning center with a lounge/media area, and an electronic parcel center. There will be 65 car parking spaces and 12 bicycle parking spaces.
