Ground is starting to move at 2400 Channel Drive, in Ventura. The project, by Warmington Residential, will bring 72 new townhomes to the once industrial area, located between residential streets and train tracks. 14 of the units will be affordable housing, falling under the moderate income tier.
A new mixed use complex has been approved for 1995 North Ventura Avenue, in Ventura. The site is currently an empty 2.71 acre lot. 78 units are included in the design, as well as some commercial space. It has been titled “Deanza Courts.”
A new development has been approved for 2110 North Ventura Avenue, in Ventura. Deemed “North Ventura Apartments,” it will replace a 3,500 square-foot residence built in 1921 and a 2,400 square-foot workshop structure, with multi family residences, including some low income housing. The lot is 37,500 square feet.
1010 Cachuma Avenue is awaiting plan resubmittal, in Ventura. The project has been titled “Scandia Village,” by developer Scandia Village LLC. Plans faced “Significant technical issues,” according to various departments of the city, including Ventura Water, Ventura Fire, Environmental Services, and Public Works, although there were no complaints from Building and Safety.
A large mixed use development is awaiting plan resubmit for the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Seaward Avenue. Anastasi is the development company behind the design. The latest rendition proposed to boost the maximum height from three to four stories, up from the previous plan, which had two to three stories.
