Townhomes at 195 Simi Village Drive have been completed, in Simi Valley. The project, by Landsea, is made of 37 separate buildings, ranging in from three to seven attached units, bringing 211 new homes to the area. It has been titled “The Westerly.” The 17 acre site used to stage Simi Valley Days, corn crops, and seasonal pumpkin and Christmas tree lots.
All of the buildings are two stories tall. There are six plans ranging from three to four bedrooms, at 1,400 to 2,200 square feet. Every unit has an attached, two car garage with direct access, a front courtyard, and roof-mounted solar equipment.
There are 213 common parking spaces, and 36 driveway spaces throughout the property. Two ungated private roads along Simi Village Drive form access. Amenities include a pool, barbecue, tot lot, common open space areas, decorative pavement and common drought tolerant landscaping.
KTGY Architecture is behind the design. The heritage theme incorporates cottage and farmhouse styles. Elements include siding, wood trim, metal awnings, porches, picket fences, brick, shutters, trellis elements, and decorative lighting. Each unit has a low wood-graned vinyl picket fenced front courtyard. The color pallet is earth toned with brown, blue, grey, tan, and rust accent colors.
