A new residential project is under construction at 726 South Wilton Place in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a six-story apartment building offering residential space and onsite parking. Plans call for the demolition of an existing fourplex on the site.
Los Angeles-based firm Category Company is the project developer. Bittoni Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
The infill project includes the construction of a six-story apartment building, offering 25 apartments. The apartments will be designed as a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom, and five-bedroom apartments. A parking space with a capacity of 22 vehicles will be developed at the street level.
Renderings showcase a facade in white stucco, accented with wood panels. Floor plans illustrate a small recreation room and a courtyard at the building’s second floor.
Completion of the apartment complex is expected in early 2023. The site sits just two blocks south of Wilton’s intersection with Wilshire Boulevard.
