29353 Canwood Street has opened in Agoura Hills. The project brings 75 units, including 86 beds, to the area. Entitled “Oakmont of Agoura Hills,” it is dedicated to senior care and living.

The mid-sized site is 5.7 acres, near the 101 freeway. The new building has 71,000 square feet of space overall. Prices for residents start at $4,547, a little above the average for the area. Amenities include in-house dining, a fitness center, and a private movie theater. There are community events and activities, such as shopping trips, exercise classes and game nights.

Residents can choose from eight different floor plans. Designs include studio, one bedroom, two bedroom, and companion layouts. Units range from 400 to 970 square feet. Telephones are provided in the rooms. Some units have kitchenettes.

Oakmont Senior Living is the developer behind the project. Options include full time care, with transportation arrangements and assistance with daily living, including transferring from a bed or a chair, and maintaining personal hygiene and grooming. Assisted living, and memory care plans are also available.
