Wood framing is taking shape and form for small lot houses at 3601 S. McLaughlin Avenue in Mar Vista in Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of single-family dwellings. Plans call for the demolition of a fourplex on the site built in the 1950s.
Venice-based Design Universal is the architect.
Seven months after ground breaking, wood framing is nearly complete for a new small lot subdivision. The project will bring six single-family dwellings as a mix of three-bedroom and four-bedroom layouts. Each will include a two-car garage at street level. The houses will stand four stories in height and also front Charnock Road. The property was entitled for development by Lewis Futterman.
The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. The project site sits a few blocks north of Venice Boulevard.
