A mixed-use project proposed for development at 2221 South Western Avenue in Jefferson Park, Los Angeles, has neared completion. The project proposal includes the development of a five-story mixed-use building offering residential and retail spaces.

The apartment complex in accordance with the Transit Oriented Communities guidelines, which permitted a larger structure than otherwise allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, a portion of the new apartments will be set aside as deed-restricted affordable housing.
