A new co-living apartment complex is under construction at 8777 Blackburn in Beverly Grove. The project proposal includes the development of a four-story building offering residential units for rent.
Cypress Equity Investments is developing the project. DFH Architects is responsible for the designs.
The project will bring a four-story building featuring 28 residential units. The building will offer a total of 140 bedrooms planned within the apartment complex are to be rented out separately. The project was approved without Transit Oriented Communities or density bonus incentives, and thus does not require an affordable set-aside.
Renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise structure with brick cladding. Planned on-site amenities include a co-working space, a fitness center, a rooftop deck, a community dining hall, and a fitness center.
The project site is located just south of the 3rd Street retail corridor. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
