A new residential project has been proposed for development at 14716 Friar Street in Van Nuys, Los Angles. The project proposal includes the development of a new six-story affordable housing complex. The project will replace a duplex and a single-family home on the site.
Opp Zone LLC is the project developer.
The project proposes to bring a new six-story apartment complex, offering 59 units at affordable prices. Parking for 32 vehicles will also be provided on the site. The project is eligible for approvals and relies on density bonus incentives to permit a larger structure than allowed by zoning rules.
The project site sits one block south of Victory Boulevard and two blocks to the west of Van Nuys Boulevard. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
