A new apartment building is reportedly under construction at 8377 Blackburn Avenue in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story apartment building offering co-living spaces.
Los Angeles-based Cypress Equity Investments is the project developer. DFH Architects is responsible for the designs.
Wood framing has reached completion for a new apartment complex rising four stories high. Upon completion, the building will offer 28 residential units. The apartment complex will feature a total of 140 bedrooms, planned to be rented out separately.
The project doesn’t propose to utilize any Transit Oriented Communities or density bonus incentives, so, no on-site affordable units are required.
Renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise structure designed with a brick facade. Onsite amenities include coworking spaces, a rooftop deck, and a community dining hall. The apartment complex will also feature a 1,000 square feet fitness facility, and over 3,000 square feet of landscaped community courtyard.
The project site is located toward the east of the Beverly Center, south of 3rd Street. The project is anticpated to be completed by December 2024.
