The project site is an L-shaped parcel and construction work can be seen. Named The Arlington, the scope of work includes the construction of a new four-story building offering 84 rental apartments and commercial space on the ground floor. Parking will also be provided on the site. Out of the total, half of the apartments will be reserved as permanent supportive housing.

Renderings reveal a brick facade. Onsite amenities include a fitness center, club rooms, and podium-level courtyards. Open landscaped area will span 8,500 square feet.

Project entitlements included density bonus incentives allowing a larger structure than zoning rules would normally permit. As a result, the apartments will be priced for households ranging from the low-income to extremely low-income levels.

Project plans were approved in 2020 after Los Angeles City Council voted to approve a financing plan for the project which included up to $45 million in multifamily housing revenue bonds. Completion of The Arlington is expected in late 2025.

The project site is located along the south side of the street between 3rd and 4th Avenues.
