Construction of an affordable housing development for seniors at 7219-7227 North Canby Avenue in Reseda has been initiated. The project proposes the construction of a four-story building. Construction crews are in the process of excavation for a seven-story mixed-use apartment building at 1630 North Schrader Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Dubbed the Hollywood Arts Collective, the $120 million project will replace a 149-car surface parking lot with affordable housing for artists, performing arts space, gallery, and rehearsal studios.
