A new apartment complex is under construction taking shape and form at 535 Glenrock Avenue in Westwood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new six-story building featuring 18 apartments and onsite parking.
M&A Real Estate Partners is the project developer. LOHA is responsible for the designs.

The project site can be seen with wood framing rising for a six-story building offering 18 apartments. Named The Hive, the apartments will be designed as a mix of four-bedroom and five-bedroom floor plans. The apartment building will also offer 10 parking spaces in a subterranean parking garage.
Renderings reveal an exterior of cedar slats. Plans also call for an amenity space at the rooftop.
Project entitlements include density bonus incentives to permit a larger building than otherwise allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, M&A will be required to set aside three of the new apartments as affordable housing at the very low-income level.
The project site is located a few blocks from the UCLA campus.
