A new residential project is under construction taking shape and form at 1000 North Alfred Street in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal included the construction of a new five-story building offering 67 apartments.

Brennen Hakimian Holdings is the project developer. Warren Techentin Architecture is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the development of a new multifamily residential complex comprised of five stories, offering 67 apartments.

The apartments will be designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom, five-bedroom, and six-bedroom floor plans. Additionally, 43 parking spaces in a single subterranean level will also be developed within the complex.

The project received entitlements for the site using density bonus incentives to permit a larger building with more housing than would otherwise be allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, plans call for six units of very low-income housing and one additional unit of low-income housing to replace buildings demolished to make way for the new project.

Published renderings reveal an O-shaped footprint wrapped around a central courtyard.

The Los Angeles Planning Commission approved the project in 2023. The project site is located toward the south of Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood. The estimated market availability has not been revealed yet.
