Plans are advancing for a 60-home residential development at 2320 North Parmelee Avenue in Compton. G3 Urban is identified as the applicant for the 4.37-acre project, which would contain 48 market-rate residences and 12 affordable homes. Each dwelling would rise two stories, with the development capped at 30 feet in height and designed as an all-electric community.
The site plan distributes the homes along a network of private internal streets rather than arranging them around a single central building. Forty-eight residences would include two-car garages, while 12 would provide one-car garages. Another 21 guest parking spaces are planned throughout the property. Each home would also have private side and rear yards, with shared landscaping and a small open-space area incorporated into the development.

The submitted rendering depicts two-story residences with light-colored exterior walls, darker horizontal facade sections, stone-textured accents, pitched roofs, and black metal railings. Individual entries and garage doors face the internal driveways, while trees and planted areas are shown between the homes and along pedestrian paths. The overall arrangement uses several building configurations rather than repeating a single continuous row.
Primary vehicle access would be provided through a gated driveway near the upper end of the Parmelee Avenue frontage, while a second gated driveway would be reserved for emergency access. Planned infrastructure work includes new internal water, sewer, and stormwater systems, three fire hydrants, drainage facilities, and frontage improvements along Parmelee Avenue. The site lies across from Centennial High School and is identified in state environmental records as Low Density Residential land.
The City of Compton is currently preparing an environmental impact report for the proposal. A construction start date is not identified in the current state environmental notice.
