A new residential project has been approved for development at 930 Compton Boulevard in Compton. The project proposal includes the development of 60 townhomes on an empty project site.

Irvine-based homebuilder City Ventures is the project developer.

Plans call for the subdivision and redevelopment of a vacant property with townhome-style condominiums. The project site spans an area of 2.45 acres. Named The Concord Residential development, the project will bring 60 for-sale homes. The proposal also includes the development of private streets, sidewalks, parking areas, and landscaping. The townhouse community will offer a mix of three-bedroom and four-bedroom homes, each of which will feature all-electric utilities.

Per conditions of approval, 10 of the homes are to be reserved for sale to moderate-income households, with the remaining 50 units to be priced at market rate. Project entitlements include a general plan amendment and a conditional use permit.

The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
