Remodeling work has been proposed for a residence located at 3848 Avenida Del Sol in Studio City. The project proposal includes the addition of a structure toward the rear end of an existing single-family residence.
Joseph Bishara Kebbe is listed as the project applicant. Architect Chris Oberle of Cobr-a is responsible for the designs. Progressive Designs Inc. is listed as the contractor.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 9,972 square feet. The scope of work includes the addition of a 779-square-foot structure to an existing single-family dwelling on a substandard hillside street. The existing house spans an area of 3,497 square feet. The addition will span an area of 758 square feet, making the residence span an updated area of 4,255 square feet. The proposed rear addition will be used as a storage and music/theater room.
The existing residence is a two-story building rising 29 feet high, the new addition will rise to a height of 22 feet. A total of four parking spaces will be provided off the street.
Plans also call for the reduction of parking from 4 to 3 spaces, along with increasing the maximum lot coverage to 47%. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
