A new housing project has been proposed for development at 1321 North Mission Road in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new apartment community offering approximately 300 apartments at affordable rates.
Century Housing Corp is listed as the project developer. GGA+ (now Practice) is responsible for the designs.
The project site is owner by LA County and spans an area of 2.3 acres. The project proposal is in the first phase of its Restorative Care Village. The scope of work includes the construction of 296 apartments. All the apartments will be reserved for households earning between 30 and 60 percent of the area’s median income.
The project is a part of expansion happened for the Los Angeles General Medical Center’s Restorative Care Village. It provides interim housing and supportive services for unhoused patients discharged from the hospital.
The Board of Supervisors authorized $55 million in bond financing for the Restorative Care Village, as well as a $10-million loan to Century Housing Corp.
