A new housing project is under construction taking shape and form at 2434 Birkdale Avenue in Frogtown. The project proposal includes the development of a new residential complex offering 35 live-work residential units. The project calls for the demolition of a former industrial building located on the site.
Pan Am Equities is the project developer. Rios is responsible for the designs.
Plans have been issued by the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. The project site was granted permits to allow for the construction of a live-work housing complex featuring 35 residential units.
The project site is located on the banks of the Los Angeles River in Frogtown, located just north of the Taylor Yard Bridge.
