A new small-scale mixed-use project has been proposed for development at 1771 West Blake Avenue in Frogtown. The project proposal includes the construction of small lot houses and retail space.
Harridge Development Group is the project developer. William Hezmalhalch Architects (WHA) is responsible for the designs.
Under construction since Summer 2023, the scope of work includes new small lot subdivision to construct a mixed-use development featuring small-lot residences and retail space. The site is entitled for the construction of 100 small lot homes. The developer has also received approvals to build 17 condominiums and commercial space across the street on the west side of Blake Avenue.
The project is under construction next to the Los Angeles River. The estimated market availability has not been revealed yet.
