The “Beachwalk” project has been approved for Oxnard, at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Fifth Street. The development has also been referred to as “Northshore at Mandalay Bay” or, “North Shore Subdivision Specific Plan.” SunCal is the latest developer for a site, which has been in the works since the 1990’s, when it was originally proposed as a mixture of residential, commercial, and tourism facilities.
Current designs call for a master planned community. The site is composed of 292 lots on about 90 acres of property. It is a short walk from Oxnard beaches. Currently, it is a rough graded, shovel-ready terrain, allowing builders to pull grading and improvement plan permits immediately upon close of escrow.
Plans call for 183 single-family residences, and 109 detached condominiums. Private streets will be created to accommodate the new homes. There will also be a public bike and walking path. Amenities will include public parks, trails, and open space all directly beside the neighboring Mandalay Beach.
Land Advisors, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, is behind the land optimization. There will be three different unit types, designed to, “Drive absorptions and revenue premiums.” All of the homes will be market rate prices.

Just in time, as the 4th largest employer in Oxnard has announced its moving to Nevada… LOL
We are Ventura County not LA County.
I can’t believe you’re building houses on top of a dumping ground area that has toxic waste underneath the dirt! I would never buy a place over there! I’m sure some people will become sick and you be sued for it! I’m watching! I’m right across the the street! I just don’t understand that!
All those houses and only two exits? This is a designated tsunami evaluation area.
Isn’t this in the flight path of the oxnard Airport? What about the airplane noise?
