A new residential tower will soon be seen soaring high at 1000 South Hill Street in Downtown Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a 60-story high-rise, offering residential units and onsite amenities. The project replaces an onsite surface parking lot before breaking ground. Canadian real estate development firm, Onni Group, is the project builder. IBI Group and Chris Dikeakos Architects are responsible for the design concepts.
Vancouver-based real estate developer, Omni Group, has initiated the construction of a high-rise residential development on the east side of Long Beach between Broadway and 3rd Street. The project proposal includes the construction of a 23-story residential high-rise featuring 400+ apartments and retail space. Plans call for rebuilding the Acres of Books building to serve as an approximately 9,300-square-foot food hall. The facade of the brick building, which is a historic landmark, will be retained.
