A new residential project is under construction taking shape and form at 495 South Hartford Avenue in Westlake. The project proposal includes the construction of a new seven-story building offering 218 apartment units.
Intergulf Development Group is the project developer. IBI Group is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the development of a new multi-family residential building rising seven stories high. The apartment complex will bring 218 units designed on top of a two-level subterranean parking garage offering parking for 200 vehicles.
Project entitlements included density bonus incentives, permitting a larger structure than allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, 36 of the new apartments are to be reserved as affordable housing.
The project is on track to reach completion by the end of 2024. The project site is located north of 6th Street in Westlake.
