Work is picking up on the Oceanwide Plaza, in Downtown Los Angeles at 1101 Flower Street. The site was supposed to open in 2019, but has been stalled for a variety of reasons. When completed, it will bring 504 units to the popular area, just across the street from the Staples Center. CallisonRTKL is the architecture firm for the development.
330 North Patton Street is at full height, in Echo Park. The project will bring denser housing to the largely one and two-story residential area. South Park Group is behind the development. The structure is next door to 340 North Patton Street, which was also developed by South Park Group, and recently opened, it is referred to as Patton Tower North. The newer development will be referred to as Patton Tower South.
Another housing development has been completed at 957 957 Figueroa Terrace, Victor Heights, Los Angeles. The project brings new luxury condominiums on a hilltop overlooking Chinatown. The property site offers a stunning view of the Downtown Los Angeles skyline. Frost/Chaddock Developers is the project developer. Reed Architectural Group is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
Ground has been broken at 777 North Front Street for the massive LaTerra Select project in Burbank, Los Angeles. The site will bring much-needed housing to Burbank, which has one of, if not the highest, shortages of housing to job ratios in the state, with employers such as Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, and Nickelodeon Animation located close by. The site will be the largest of LaTerra’s developments to date.
Framing has finished at 1100 West Temple Street, in Angelino Heights. The project is by LaTerra Development. They aim to give residents a less expensive option than projects in the core of Downtown Los Angeles while being in a location that provides many of the same benefits.
