A new mixed-use development has been approved at 12500 Riverside Drive in Valley Village. The project is planned for a corner parcel at Riverside Drive and Whitsett Avenue, just north of the 101 Freeway. The development will consist of a five-story structure with 219 residential units and 2,162 square feet of ground-floor retail. The project will replace a commercial building currently on the site.
Construction has wrapped up at 10801 Venice Boulevard in the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles. The newly finished structure rises on the corner of Venice Boulevard and Glendon Avenue, replacing a former single-story commercial building. Venice Adventures, LLC is the developer behind the project. Plus Architects is responsible for the design.
Construction is nearly complete on a new mixed-use development at 1650 Lincoln Boulevard in Downtown Santa Monica. The project replaces a low-rise commercial building and rises just north of the 10 Freeway, on a prominent stretch of Lincoln Boulevard. Tishman Speyer is the developer behind the project. KFA Architecture is serving as the design firm.
A new 45-unit affordable housing development is all set to be inaugurated at 7301 South Broadway in Florence, South Los Angeles. The project site spans an area of 6,434 square feet. The project site previously housed a single-story, 2,100-square-foot commercial building. R2H Development is listed as the project developer. JZA Architecture is responsible for the designs.
With newly approved funding, plans to develop a new affordable housing project at 744–754 South Kern Street in East Los Angeles are set to move forward. The project proposal includes the development of a new affordable residential complex offering 93 affordable housing options. Plans call for the demolition of the existing commercial buildings on the site. Non-profit developer Hollywood Community Housing Corp (HCHC) is listed as the project developer.
