Construction is underway for 6733 South Sepulveda Boulevard in Westchester, Los Angeles. The 148,900 square feet of floor space reaches seven stories and 93 feet tall. It will have 176 apartments over a two-level private parking garage. The development, by Sandstone Properties, was designed to attract the attention of local tech giant employees.
The building’s location is a one-minute drive from the Howard Hughes Hangar, home of Google, and across the street from the Equity Office campus. Many restaurants are close by, especially in the recently renovated Promenade. Los Angeles International Airport is also a relatively short drive away.
The apartments range from a 465 square foot studio to a 1,080 square foot, two-bedroom residence. 176 spots are reserved for long-term bicycle parking and 20 short-term spots. A basement is also included in the design. The residents’ standout features include a large pool with cabanas, a game room, a gym, a yoga room, a technology center, and a rooftop observation deck/entertainment area.
The architecture firm for the new construction, Johnson Fain, drafted a design that takes advantage of the bluff location’s views. The exterior patterns are modern, with glass and metal panel cladding. The expense for the project is approximately $44,970,000.
