New Affordable Multi-Family Housing Development In Florence-Graham, Los Angeles

Development permits have been submitted seeking the approval of constructing new affordable housing project at 2111 Firestone Boulevard in Florence-Graham, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes constructing a six-story multi-family housing development with on-site parking facility.

Elsey Holdings, LLC is the applicant and Prime Place is the project developer.

The property will span across a lot measuring approximately 13,600 square feet. The residential facility will have eighty-five apartments. A total of forty-one residential units will be set aside as deed-restricted housing at affordable pricing, and an additional 43 units will be available for households with low-income level. Plans also call for two market-rate manager’s apartments and on-site services and amenities. The building facade will rise to a height of seventy-four feet and will house four parking spaces. 48 long-term bicycle parking spaces will be provided.

The project site is located within a half-mile of the A Line’s Firestone Station and is included in a new specific plan which aims to rezone surrounding industrial properties to promote new housing construction near the transit zone.
