“The Q Topanga” is starting to take shape at 6263 Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Warner Center, Los Angeles. It is the second in a series of three developments being constructed by California Home Builders. The first is “The Q Variel,” which is currently leasing, the third will be “The Q De Soto,” which is expected to open in 2024. The designs aim to attract young professionals and millennials in a market that has become increasingly competitive.
“The Q Topanga” will be 79 feet tall, 235 feet wide, and 427 feet long. It will be seven stories high with a total of 403,800 square feet of floor. Apartments will be on levels two through seven. There will be 343 units and four guest rooms, and the ground level will contain restaurant and office space.
Amenities include a full-service concierge and valet, pool courtyard, rooftop deck, outdoor movie theater, a club/lounge, game room, gourmet kitchen, and a fitness/yoga studio. There will be two levels of the underground garage for parking. They will contain 170 compact, 18 disabled, and 486 standard parking spaces. There will be 388 long-term and 46 short-term spaces for bicycle parking.
Newman Garrison + Partners designed the first “Q” as well as this one. The site is on 2.73 acres that sit directly across from The Village at Westfield Topanga shopping mall. It is expected to reach at least an $85 million budget before finishing. Residents can anticipate moving in by the fall of this year.
