Named the PATH Villas Hollywood, the complex replaced an existing shelter facility owned and operated by PATH. The new development will bring sixty apartments designed in a six-story residential complex. Fifty-nine residences will be offered at affordable rates, and one manager’s unit will be available. Social services offices will be provided on the site. A parking space with a capacity of fourteen vehicles will be allotted.

Renderings reveal a contemporary podium-style building with a U-shaped footprint above the first floor. The complex will be surrounded by a landscaped courtyard. Other amenities are inclusive of a community room and a rooftop deck.

The project was estimated to cost $40 million in 2019. Funding for the PATH Villas comes from a variety of state and local sources, including Measure HHH.

The project broke ground recently. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed.
