New townhomes will soon be designed at the site of a nursery located at 1335-1343 West 141st Street in Gardena. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of a nursery into a residential property.
Orange County-based real estate firm Olson Homes is the project developer. KTGY Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction.
Formerly Lloyd’s Nursery, the property site is a two-acre parcel. The new development will bring fifty townhomes featuring two and three-bedroom plans. The residential area will range from 1,260 square feet to 1,659 square feet. Each unit will include a two-car tandem parking garage at the ground level. Other on-site amenities include private decks and patios.
Named Azalea Walk, the townhouses will be composed of six different three-story structures in a gated community with private roads. A landscaped green space will be the center of the property.
The project was approved in 2020 and is under construction. The date of completion has not been announced.
The property site is located at the intersection of 141st Street and Normandie Avenue in a residential neighborhood nearing other townhome projects in Gardena.
