The longtime plan for a new condominium subdivision has progressed further and broken ground at 14801 Plummer Street in Panorama City. The project proposal includes the development of townhomes on a triangle-shaped parcel.
Home construction company DR Horton is the project developer.
The property site is a parcel spanning an area of 2.7 acres. Named Corterra, the new project will bring 36 detached townhomes, featuring floor plans up to 1,878 square feet in size. The project will feature townhomes designed with four bedrooms and well landscaped outdoor areas.
The site was first entitled to development with homes in 2004. The project remained dormant for the better part of 17 years prior to breaking ground over the summer. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
The Corterra site sits next to an L-shaped property at 14701 Plummer Street that is slated for a similar development featuring 28 small lot houses.
