Ultra-Unit is behind the design, which was inspired by dramatic landscapes found in nature. The projecting balconies create visual interest, as well as perform functional roof drainage for the building. An emphasis was placed on natural light through the use of floor-to-ceiling windows and abundant glass panels. $5.9 million was the permit valuation at the time of filing. Rentals are currently available, ranging from the low to mid-$3,000 for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom layout.

  1. Why is it so difficult to just design a decent building in LA without wild colors or pick-up sticks or clunky shapes?!?! pick up sticks on the facade?

  2. Not to worry…looks like none of the facade folly survived.
