Four years after its announcement and groundbreaking, a mixed-use apartment complex has neared completion at 5750 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story mixed-use building featuring commercial and residential spaces.
Atlanta-based firm Wood Partners is the project developer. Carrier Johnson + Culture is responsible for the design concepts.
Named Alta Ink, the project proposes to bring 161 apartments, offered as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. A series of two-story live/work townhomes are also part of the project. Commercial space spanning an area of 5,700 square feet is designed on the ground floor. A total of 14 units are reserved as low-income housing units.
Renderings reveal a podium-style building, showcasing light and dark color scheme intended to evoke the image of a projector in a dark theater. Onsite amenities include a rooftop terrace, a courtyard, and a fitness center.
Monthly rents for the property are listed between $2,632 and $7,033. The property site is near the Hollywood/Western subway station, just east of the US-101 freeway.
