Exterior finishing has started at 1320 South Flower Street, in Downtown Los Angeles. The project, by Tishbees, will bring a new hotel to the area, close to Metro’s Pico Station and the Los Angeles Convention Center. The site was previously a parking lot.
The design reaches 68 feet tall and has 22,000 square feet of floor. It is 135 feet long and 41 feet wide. There are six stories inside, containing 43 guest rooms and two apartments.
Parking will be on the ground floor. Inside, there will be one disabled, seven standards, and six compact spaces. 12 long-term and four short-term bicycle spaces will be on site. A standout amenity will be the rooftop deck.
The architecture firm behind the design is nKlosures. R.J. General Contractors are helping to build out the site. The contemporary-modern aesthetic utilizes straight lines and a monochromatic color scheme, according to renderings. At the time of filing, the permit valuation was $4.7 million.
