159 homes have been approved for the Northwest corner of US 101 and Springville Drive, in Camarillo. Lennar Homes is the developer behind the project. The community will replace a farm field and historic home. The home will be relocated within the site and restored for resale, with the addition of a new garage.

The property is just over 43 acres, of which the homes will take up 20 acres. Each unit will be built on a lot ranging from 2,600 to 3,900 square feet. Designs will vary in height from 25 feet to 30 feet.

Amenities will include a pool and outdoor patio area for use by the residents. A park will be built next to the homes, with a turf playfield, children’s play equipment, pickleball and basketball courts, shade structures, cornhole play area, bocce ball court, and restrooms. There will be 23 perpendicular parking spaces on Street E, in front of the park site.

KTGY Architecture designed the community. Architectural styles will include: Spanish Colonial, Revival Mission, Monterey, and Craftsman. Each unit will have two garage parking spaces, and 1 or two spaces in front of the garage, depending on the design. Additional street parking will be available for guests.
