A new residential unit has almost reached completion at 6901 Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story structure featuring residential and commercial spaces.

Onni Group is the project developer. Roschen Van Cleve Architects is responsible for the design concepts. Enns Gauthier Landscape Architects is the landscape architect.

Wood framing has reached its peak for the new apartment complex, featuring a seven-story edifice. The building will offer 231 apartments and commercial space spanning an area of 15,000 square feet on the ground floor. Parking for 390 vehicles will also be located in subterranean levels below the building.

Entitlements for the project include density bonus incentives to permit a larger building than allowed under zoning rules. In exchange, Onni is required to set aside 15 of the apartments as deed-restricted affordable housing at the very low-income level.

Renderings reveal a podium-type building clad in a combination of concrete and stucco. Cascading terrace decks oriented toward the rear property line will provide a height transition to the lower-scaled neighborhood to the north, while also creating a series of amenity decks and a courtyard swimming pool.

The project site is located on the north side of Santa Monica between Orange Drive and Mansfield Avenue.
