A new residential project has been planned for development at 5785 West Corbett Street in Baldwin Hills, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new eight-story building offering multifamily housing options.
Kaveh Bral is listed as the project applicant. Architect Sam Ghanouni is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new eight-story building offering 80 multifamily units. The units will be designed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans. The housing complex will also offer on-site parking for 103 vehicles.
Requested approvals include density bonus incentives to allow for a larger structure than normally permitted by zoning rules. In exchange, 13 of the new apartments would be set aside for rent as very low-income affordable housing.
Landscaped areas include a central courtyard and a rooftop deck.
A project application has been submitted, awaiting review and approval. The project site is an empty parcel located south of Metro’s La Cienega/Jefferson Station.
