A new residential project has made progress as the Los Angeles City Council signed off on SCEA (Sustainable Communities Environmental Assessment)  for units proposed at 5600 West Franklin Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a four-story building offering residential units and onsite parking.

Beverly Hills investor Ilan Gorodezki is the project sponsor. Kamran Tabrizi Architect & Associates is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes a four-story building featuring 41 residential units, designed as a mix of studios and one-bedroom floor plans. The building will also offer parking for 41 vehicles.

Requested entitlements include Transit Oriented Communities incentives, granting waivers from certain zoning rules. In exchange, five of the proposed apartments will be set aside as deed-restricted affordable housing at the extremely low-income level.
