Construction is underway for an affordable housing complex just north of Temple Street in Historic Filipinotown. Named Loma Verde, the project will rise from a 4500-square-foot lot. Plans call for a four-story building with 18 apartments and no on-site parking. Renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise structure wrapped in greenery.

The project, one of two which Holos is developing with Restore Neighborhoods L.A., was delayed by bot the global pandemic and the inflation that followed. It is among several projects awarded Measure HHH challenge funds.

The project site sits just north of Temple Street, where developer Trammell Crow Residential developed Alexan Bahay, a mixed-use building featuring 200 apartments and a ground-floor Target.
