A new hotel project is under construction taking shape and form at 515 North Central Avenue in Glendale. The project proposal includes the development of a new seven-story hotel. The project required the demolition of an existing structure on the site; a shuttered Burger King outlet.
VK Group is the project developer. AC Martin is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new seven-story hotel offering 147 rooms. Named Hotel Indigo, the hotel will offer amenities like a pool deck, a fitness room, and meeting rooms. Guests will also be able to use a 137-car underground garage.
Renderings reveal a U-shaped footprint wrapping around a street-fronting courtyard. The building features an exterior designed in brick, stone, and metal.
The project was approved in 2020 by the Glendale City Council. The project site is located at the intersection of Central Avenue and Doran Street in Downtown Glendale. The estimated inauguration date has not been revealed yet.
