A new residential project has been proposed for development at 11027 Strathmore Drive in Westwood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new 12-story apartment tower offering 88 apartments. The project will replace an existing 21-unit residential building.
Chatsworth-based development firm Uncommon is the project developer. JZA Architecture is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new 12-story building offering 88 apartments. Strathmore Drive Apartments will have 15 percent of the units set aside as moderate-income units, in addition to a 15 percent units as very low-income units.
The residential tower will rise to a height of 153 feet above street level. Renderings reveal a facade designed in smooth white stucco, featuring recessed arched openings.
The project will be executed utilizing the state housing legislations AB 2334 and AB 1287. A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet. The project site is located near UCLA in Westwood.
