A new seven-story complex offering residential and commercial uses is nearing completion at 549 South Harvard Boulevard in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project replaced a former U.S. Post Office building, which was demolished under a separate permit.
Jamison Services is listed as the developer for the project, with architectural plans prepared by Next Architecture.

The completed structure will house 150 apartments designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts. In addition to the residential space, the building also includes approximately 12,900 square feet of commercial floor area at street level. A two-level basement garage provides parking accommodations for up to 190 vehicles.
The project was approved through Los Angeles Transit Oriented Communities program, which encourages denser, transit-accessible development. In return for zoning incentives, the development reserves 15 units as affordable housing for households earning at the extremely low-income level.

Adding character to the street, the mixed-use features a crisp, contemporary look expressed in white and gray façades and curved balconies. Retail space opens directly to the sidewalk, promoting active ground-floor use.
Interiors lean minimalist and warm. Soft color palettes, wood finishes, and rounded furnishings define the resident lounges and co-working areas. A central courtyard is proposed above the podium, offering outdoor space framed by the U-shaped layout.

Located just south of 6th Street, the property sits within walking distance of major transit lines, retail corridors, and other recent multifamily developments in Koreatown.
