Another residential complex will soon be available on the market at 1621 North McCadden Place in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of an apartment complex with micro-units and no parking. Vertical construction is now complete for the project situated south of Hollywood and Highland.
Seattle-based real estate development firm Housing Diversity Corporation is the project developer. Steinberg Hart is managing the design concepts and construction.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of approximately 8,000 square feet. The new development will bring sixty-nine micro-units in an eight-story building. There will be no parking on the site. The average built-up area of the units is 375 square feet. On-site amenities are inclusive of a rooftop deck, a lounge, and co-working space.
Renderings reveal a contemporary podium-style building with five levels of wood-frame construction above three levels of concrete base. Cantilevered balconies will wrap the apartment facade.
The developer secured approvals for the apartment complex using Transit Oriented Communities incentives. Eight of the residential units will be set aside for low-income households.
The property site is located on the southwest corner of Hawthorn Avenue and McCadden Place.
