A new residential project has been proposed for development at 233 North Robinson Street in Westlake, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of three residential buildings with Accessory Dwelling Units. Plans call for the demolition of two on-site dwellings from 1920s home just south of Temple Street.
233 Property LLC is the property owner and applicant. Scales Lab Architects is responsible for the designs.
A project application was submitted earlier this year to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning. The project proposes to bring small lot homes with ADUs. The developer seeks entitlements to raze those improvements to make way for a trio of small lot homes, accompanied by two attached accessory dwelling units. The resulting development would include five homes. Plans showcase a trio of buildings, ranging from 2,180 to 2,692 square feet in size. The residences feature floor plans of up to four bedrooms.
Renderings reveal a contemporary design for the small lot homes, clad in smooth finish white cement plaster.
The project site sits one block east of the former site of Temple Community Hospital. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
